Maryland Smoke Detector Law and Updated CoesterVMS Scope of Work
Maryland’s Smoke Alarm Law requires the replacement of all smoke alarms when they are 10 years old. This applies to both hard-wired and battery-operated smoke alarms. Maryland’s new Smoke Alarm Law requires the replacement of smoke alarms when they are ten years old (ten years from the date of manufacture). We've received inquiries with regard to disclosure in compliance with recent legislation for TX 50a(6). We do not have a standard, flat AMC fee. Our system calculates C & R fees based on each property. Contractual obligations and business decisions determine whether a fee increase is warranted from the base (if the fee has not been quoted).
